Wotton Times

For Three years I was the art director for a local newspaper/magazine the Wotton Times. As well as designing the monthly I also put my journalism cap on and created content.

Initially the paper was quite dated and black and white and needed a redesign to bring it up to date. After a year the decision was made to change the format and move to a glossy colour magazine format. I redesigned the look and feel and relished the opportunity to provide a lovely tactile read for the local community.

The paper grew in sales and became the best selling local publication. With the full colour magazine format we were able to expand our reach into neighbouring towns.
