About the project
Lisa approached me to create a short film to showcase the business and explain what Millinery is and who it's for.
Lisa's workshop is very small and surrounded with windows and mirrors. The challenge was to shoot and light the space with without picking up reflections. After speaking to Lisa beforehand I had a good plan of how to layout the video with a combination of interview and demonstration. Lisa has a great personality and passion for her work and I wanted this to shine through from the start.
The whole process took a three days with a days filming and two days editing. Since going live with the video Lisa has had lots of inquiries and many comments from people fascinated by her work.
